Code Alarm CA210 Key Fob Programming Instructions

This Code Alarm CA210 system uses replacement remote: ELVATCG, CATX610


Those key chain remotes included with the system are pre-programmed, with each button pre-assigned to control a specific function of the system.

NOTE: Your system can only take up to 4 remotes. If you program another remote while system already has saved 4 remotes programmed, then the first remote you programmed will be erased from the system.

Perform these steps to program your remote:

1. Turn the key in the ignition switch to ON position.
2. Press valet button/switch 3 times.
3. The dash mounted LED will flash once, and the siren will sound once, this means your system is ready to accept programming for channel 1 which is ARM/LOCK.
4. Press and hold the LOCK button on the remote for 4 seconds or you can wait for a long chirp.
4a. Go back to step 4 for additional remotes you wish to program.
5. Press valet button/switch once for channel 2 this time. The dash mounted LED will flash twice and the horn/siren will sound twice, indicating that the system is ready to do programming for channel 2 which is DISARM/UNLOCK.
6. Press and hold the UNLOCK button on the remote for 4 seconds or wait for the long chirp.
6a. Go back to step 6 for any additional remotes you’d like to program.
7. Press and release the valet button/switch once to advance to the 3rd channel. LED will flash 3 times and the siren will sound 3 times, indicating that the system is ready to do the programming for channel 3 which is TRUNK RELEASE/REMOTE START.
8. Press and hold the TRUNK KEY/KEY BUTTON on the remote for 4 seconds or just simply wait for a long flash from the parking lights.
8a. Repeat step 8 for any additional remotes.
9. Press and release the valet button/switch once to advance to channel 4. LED will flash 4 times and the siren will sound 4 times, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for channel 4 which is an optional device.
10. Press and hold the OPTION button on the remote for 4 seconds or until a long flash from the parking lights.
10a. Go back to step 10 for any additional remotes.
