Avital AVISTART 3200 Key Fob Programming Instructions

This Avital AVISTART 3200 system uses replacement remote: 820041-23361, EZSDEI476

Alarm must be disarmed. Valet mode won’t work. The red LED must be off. If there is no working remote and the alarm sounds when you open the door or start the vehicle then do the following:

Press valet switch for one second and release with the ignition ON. If that doesn’t work then do it with ignition OFF.

Adding a new remote:

1. Open driver door until the remote is programmed.
2. Turn the ignition to ON.
3. Within 5 seconds of step 2 press the valet/program switch the number of times corresponding to the desired channel on the chart below. Once you have selected the channel press it once more and hold it. The LED will flash the same number of times as the channel selected and the siren will chirp to confirm. Do not release the valet button/switch.

4. While holding the valet button/switch, press the button on the transmitter you wish to assign to that channel. The unit will chirp to confirm that the receiver has learned the code from the remote.
5. Release the valet/programming switch/button.
6. Remove key.

If your vehicle’s system was installed without the valet switch you can order one and install it to make it easier to do the programming.
