1999 Chevrolet Lumina Key Fob Programming Instructions

This keyless remote programming instructions work for 3B remote with part # 16245103, trunk 16245105, rear2x 16245100-29, 16207901-5, FCC id AB01502T on the back of it.

Replacement Remote
1. Locate the programming Connector leading to the receiver ( see Figure) in the trunk ( passenger side ) it is a plastic connector with one white/black when leading up to it. The Connector is not plugged into anything.
Often the programming connector is located on the right hand side of the trunk taped to the warning harness near the antenna mast. You may have to pull back the right side trunk trim to access the connector.
2. The programming connector should have one terminal. Ground this terminal to the trunk batch or nearby bolt. The door locks will automatically cycle (lock then unlock) to indicate initiation of programming mode. Make sure the programming connector stays grounded throughout the programming
3. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter for 10 seconds or until the door lock cycle, Your new remote has been accepted and all existing remote codes have been erased.

4. Repeat the previous step for each of the remaining transmitters (including any existing transmitter) Do not remove ground between programming of transmitters.

5. Remove the jumper wire from the keyless Programming Connector.
